We accept adults 21 years of age and older! 

No, this is an accredited South Carolina public charter school. That means we are a public high school for adults. When you graduate from our school, you earn a high school diploma and an industry certification. 

Palmetto Excel operates on 8-week terms, with each term representing a “new school year.” Contact us to enroll.

We offer flexible scheduling, but students can accelerate their graduation by taking five classes per day. Each class will be 80 minutes long, with a 40-minute lunch break. Students are responsible for bringing their lunch.

 English, Social Studies, Science, Math, and various Electives (Music, Art, Health, Physical Education, Computer Programming, and CTE).

All Students complete classes for an industry certification or dual enrollment college credit.

Yes, we will offer transportation assistance through CARTA, Gas cards, and rideshare opportunities.

We offer free drop-in care for children of our students. We accept children ages 8 weeks to 12 years old while parents are attending classes. 

Yes! All teachers meet the teaching requirements of the South Carolina Department of Education.

Yes! We are all One Goodwill, but we are also an official charter high school under the South Carolina Public Charter School District. 

Yes! There are Excel Centers in Indiana, Arizona, Arkansas, Missouri, Texas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Washington, DC, and Maryland.
